About
Blayne Davis

I have lived and traveled the world, but for now, Austin is home. I am currently in the ALB (Bachelor of Liberal Arts) Program in Extension Studies at Harvard University graduating in May 2024.

My professional experience includes being a Commodities Trading Advisor (Series 3), stockbroker (Series 7, 63, and 65 ), leading sales teams throughout domestic and international markets, delivering sales presentations before Fortune 500 companies, product design and development for emerging iGaming markets, commerical copywriting for national and international advertising campaigns, and designing curriculum for  training programs.

Since 2012, I have vigorously pursued commercial interests in creative fiction and the law. On the fiction front, I am represented by WME and have recently begun working on sequel material to follow the anticipated release of my first novel. As it relates to my current work in the law, I research and ghostwrite motions and appeals for federal criminal and civil litigation for attorney/pro se clients throughout the country. I am currently working on two projects. The first is a manual on criminal defensive techniques and strategies, tentatively titled Proactive Defenses in all Critical Stages of Federal Criminal Prosecution. The second is the ELOX Method™, a systematic methodology for organizing, processing, and learning complex material for high-stakes writing and testing through pre-defined phases of (E)xploration, (L)everaging, (O)ptimization, and e(X)pression.

My long-term objective is to become an attorney, and as part of that pursuit, I will sit for the LSAT this year  with plans of beginning law school next fall. As far as personal interests and hobbies….I am a voracious reader of the Stoics, Cold War-era espionage novels, 19th and 20th century German Literature. When I am not working on projects, you’re likely to find me at one of my son’s baseball games, daughter’s acting performances, battling the carpool lane, enjoying Austin’s vibrant culinary scene, or running through Austin’s country hillside.
